WORKS

All literary activity is the reproduction of the world that surrounds me, by means of the world that is in me.’ - Goethe

There is a wide range of subjects in Núria’s work. She paints what surrounds her. Her paintings range from seascapes to still life.

She works often into a wet surface, letting color and water create its own shapes on the paper. She follows no contemporary movement nor trends. Painting with the medium she feels more connected to - water-color -, her paintings are recollections of her life experiences, the transcription of her most intimate impressions of what she sees.

The Sea

Núria lives and paints by the sea. Her paintings do not show a particular beach or seascape, they are a synthesis of many moments and impressions of the sea. Each painting is linked to a real moment.

Domestic Landscapes

Núria is particularly interested in the beauty of the common: the common places and the common objects that surround her. Her paintings do not show fruits, houses or animals, but an emotion.
